Nielsen Racing: Our Story

Now in its twelfth year of competition, Nielsen Racing enters the 2026 season marking a decade of participation in Le Mans Endurance Management (LMEM) and ACO competition. Building on a strong foundation of success, the team continues to expand its presence at the highest level of endurance racing with a two-car LMP2 programme, alongside the addition of two new-generation Duqueine D09 LMP3 entries for the Michelin Le Mans Cup. Nielsen Racing made its debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2020 before stepping up to full-time LMP2 competition in 2022, where the team celebrated a podium finish in only its second appearance at the event. A second LMP2 entry was introduced at the end of 2023, further strengthening the team’s competitiveness. In 2026, Nielsen Racing returns to Le Mans for the fifth consecutive year and its sixth participation overall.

Founded in 2014 in Corby, Nielsen Racing is the culmination of over 13 years of experience in the motorsport industry from our dedicated team of motorsport specialists. We have a long history of success in the Radical SR1, SR3 and SR8 series across Europe and the UK and since 2017, Nielsen Racing competed – with championship success – in the UK Henderson LMP3 Cup, Asian Le Mans and Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Nielsen Racing relocated its workshop from Corby to Sywell at the end of 2025, marking a new chapter in the team’s development. The team is built on decades of combined experience from a dedicated group of motorsport specialists and has a proven track record of success across multiple categories. Nielsen Racing undertakes race car preparations, damage repair and chassis set up for a variety of motorsport vehicles. Nielsen Racing’s work is always done to the highest possible level and using the highest quality parts to ensure your car is in its best condition to give you the confidence to push yourself and your machine further.
